At the Oceania Hockey Federation (OHF), we believe in the power of sport to do more than just develop athletes — it can strengthen communities, improve wellbeing, and create lasting social impact across the Pacific.
The Hook in4 Health programme sits at the heart of this mission, connecting hockey with health, education, and community development initiatives across the region.
We’re now seeking a Programme Manager to lead and grow this work.
About the role
This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of sport, health, and community development across the Pacific.
As the Hook in4 Health Programme Manager, you will lead the coordination and delivery of the programme — working closely with National Federations, regional partners, and community stakeholders to ensure meaningful, sustainable impact.
This is a remote, part-time role, offering flexibility while contributing to a programme that reaches communities across multiple Pacific nations.
You’ll be just as comfortable managing systems and reporting as you are building relationships, supporting people, and bringing programmes to life on the ground.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery, and ongoing development of the Hook in4 Health programme
- Build and maintain strong relationships with National Federations, partners, and stakeholders across the Pacific
- Support and manage programme staff, including recruitment, development, and performance
- Oversee programme resources, tools, and communications (including social media and web presence)
- Monitor programme delivery, evaluate impact, and lead reporting (monthly, six-monthly, and Board reporting)
- Manage budgets in collaboration with the CEO
- Deliver and support training activities, workshops, and events where required
- Contribute to wider OHF events, tournaments, and development initiatives
We’re looking for someone who…
- Has experience in programme management, sport development, community development, or a related field
- Is confident building relationships across cultures and working within diverse Pacific contexts
- Brings strong organisational skills and can manage multiple priorities with ease
- Communicates clearly and effectively — both written and verbal
- Is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team
- Has an interest in (or understanding of) sport — hockey experience is a bonus, not a requirement
- Is passionate about health, wellbeing, and creating positive community impact
