Oceania Hockey is pleased to welcome Amy Ryan as the new Program Manager for the Hook in4 Health program, bringing a wealth of experience across coaching, education, sport development and program delivery.
Amy has spent more than a decade working in the sports industry, holding roles across grassroots participation, coach education, high performance and event management. She is currently an Educator with TAFE Queensland, an FIH Coach Educator and National U16 Girls Lead Coach with Hockey Australia, and has previously led participation and development initiatives through Brisbane Women’s Hockey Association, including the delivery of Hookin2Hockey programs. Her diverse background, combined with extensive experience designing and delivering coach and athlete development pathways, positions her well to lead Hook in4 Health across the Pacific.
Amy said she is “looking forward to contributing to the Pacific nations and building on the work that Gill has accomplished over her tenure.” Amy has officially commenced in the role following a handover period alongside Gill, ensuring a smooth transition for the Hook in4 Health program.
