Tonga Hockey's August and September Community Engagement

Now that all Covid restrictions have been lifted Tonga Hockey Federation has been extremely busy catching up with schools, clubs and bringing together their National Squads.

During these months 400 students had an opportunity to take part in hockey promotions that were delivered in their schools. In November and December school championships will run, so these visits inspire schools to enter.

It was during these months that both club and youth competitions were held on the concrete field behind the Olympic Committee office.

259 adults also had the opportunity to play. The end of September saw the successful FIEFIA Adult Friday program start up again. This is where corporate teams challenge each other across a range of sports for a six week block.
