Induction of New Solomon Islands Hook in4 Health Staff

OHF, is delighted with the new Solomon Islands team that will be delivering the activities with the key objective being : all communities in the Solomon Islands will Live Well, Learn Well and Lead Well through Hockey.
The new team is lead by Joachim Rande, who is seen in photo talking to OHF CEO Craig Gribble. Joachim has worked with the Solomon Islands Hockey Squads, as a SINIS Strength and Conditionning Trainer, for the past 2 years and has the respect of the athletes, coaches and the SIHF Executive.
Esmie Belo, who coached the Women to a silver medal at the Pacific Games has been appointed, together with 4 national athletes who participated at the Pacific Games - Jeremy Olivia Ghailobo, Nyrick Zuna, Allen Temoa. Samson Auga, who was a technical official at the Games will have a part time role to recruit and support the development of umpires and technical officials.
"Robbing the nest" game in action
The Hin4H staff attended a Team Up workshop for 4 days alongside the other 5 Sport 4 Development program staff looking at objectives, planning, communications, and reporting. OHF followed this workshop with a formal induction of the new staff using the learnings from the Hook in4 Health programs operating in PNG and Vanuatu. The focus for the last day was on practical delivery where they had fun running sessions for their collagues and then constructively giving feedback.
The team is excitedly delivering to their first school - White River High School this week.
