Vanuatu Mamas make a stand against Domestic Violence

Hook in4 Health Mamas in Hockey is a program that engages with women in outreach villages who have had little opportunity to be involved with any sporting activity.
Vanuatu Hockey started the program and the Hook in4 Health staff have extended the range of activities for the Mamas by including health and nutrition messages as part of their hockey sessions.
The nutrition messages have had an immediate impact where their shared meal after hockey is now local fruits and healthy options.
May was Domestic Violence Awareness Month and this topic was discussed during May with the Mamas, led by staff member Anna Bangalulu.
