As the last two AGM's were held online, although awards announced they were not physically presented.

Secretary General David Peebles took the opportunity to officially present Dr Robin Mitchell (see main picture)with his life membership badge at the 2023 ONOC Conference in Brisbane on April 18th. (see Oceania article May 8 2022). 

At the OHF AGM on the 28th of April Bob Claxton was presented with his 2021 FIH President's Award. This was followed by acknowledgement of CDO Gill Gemming's 2022 FIH President's Award.

Papua New Guinea nominated former PNG President Kaluwin Potuan for an OHF Life Membership. This was unanimously supported by all the member countries present. Karl has served on the OHF Executive as well as leading PNG since 2008. His significant legacy is the establishment of an artificial water pitch in Port Moresby as he was a member of the Pacific Games Facility Committee ensuring that Hockey gained a new home. A celebration and presentation of this award will be held in PNG in July 2023.
